The First is now Renasant.

Online and Mobile Banking

Will my online banking login information change?

Your User ID will stay the same unless we have notified you. Your temporary password will be the last 6 digits of your SSN. You will be prompted to change your password after logging in.

When can I access Renasant Online and Mobile Banking?

On Monday, August 4, 2025, The First customers will have access to Renasant Online and Mobile Banking. If you are currently enrolled in The First Online Banking, your access will be converted automatically to Renasant. See the Conversion Guide for more details.

Can I use Quicken and Quickbooks with Renasant Online Banking?

Yes. You will need to take additional steps to update your connection settings in QuickBooks or Quicken to ensure continued access and functionality. Click here to learn more.

Will I still have access to The First Online Banking?

Access to The First Online and Mobile Banking will be disabled at 5:00 PM CT on Friday, August 1. On Monday, August 4, 2025, log in to Online Banking at renasantbank.com or download the Renasant Mobile App. Renasant offers mobile banking for both consumer and business customers for Apple and Android phones and tablet devices.

I do not currently have Online Banking, but I would like to enroll. Can I do that now?

Yes. If you enroll in The First Bank's Online Banking prior to Friday, August 1, 2025, your account will be converted to Renasant's Online Banking.  

If you do not enroll in The First Bank's Online Banking prior to Friday, August 1, 2025, visit renasantbank.com after Monday, August 4, 2025, and choose Sign Up from the Login screen to begin enrollment. 

For Business Online Banking, please visit your local branch to speak with one of our employees.  

Debit Cards & ATM Access

Can I keep using my current debit card?

Yes, continue using your The First Debit Card. Keep in mind, your card will display as a Renasant card in your mobile wallet or app.

Will my PIN change?

No, your PIN will stay the same.

Can I check my balance at ATMs during the conversion?

Balance inquiries will be unavailable Thursday, July 31 through Monday, August 4. Full access resumes Tuesday, August 5.

Bill Pay & Transfers

Will my scheduled bill payments transfer over?

Most scheduled bill payments will transfer over. However:

  • Recurring payments to the same payee will not convert to Renasant Online Banking.
  • You will need to reestablish ebill information after initial login
  • Download history from The First Online Banking before Friday, August 1 at 3 PM CT.

When is the last day to change scheduled bill payments?

Friday, August 1 by 3 PM CT

What happens to my external transfers?

Transfers using account numbers/names will no longer be available. Use Zelle® for person-to-person payments or re-establish transfers starting Monday, August 4.

Statements, Checks & Accounts

Will my account number change?

Most account numbers will stay the same. If yours is changing, you should have received a letter with your new Renasant account and routing number.  

Will I receive a special statement?

Yes, you’ll receive a final statement from The First showing all activity through August 1.

Do I need new checks?

Not immediately. If your account number is changing, you should have received a letter containing your new Renasant account and routing number. Otherwise, you may continue using your current checks. 

Will my account type change?

Your account name and type will not change until the conversion on August 4, 2025. At least 30 days prior to August 4, Renasant mailed disclosure information detailing any account type changes along with Renasant's funds availability policy, common fees, and other terms and conditions. What will happen to my CDs?

Your CD rate and term will remain the same until maturity.

Will my lockbox address change?

No, your lockbox address will remain the same.

Will this affect my direct deposit?

No, direct deposits will continue to process.

Will this affect any drafts coming out of my account?

No, any payments coming out of your account using your account and routing number will continue. However, you will want to use the Renasant routing number when setting up future payments after Monday, August 4.

Business & Treasury Solutions

When can I start using Renasant Business Internet Banking?

Preview access runs Monday, July 21, 2025, at 7 AM CT through Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 2 PM CT., and full functionality begins August 4. Visit The First Conversion Treasury Solutions Resource Center to learn more.

Will user templates and settings transfer over?

No. Users and admins need to rebuild templates and permissions during the preview period. 

Will ACH and wire transfers need to be reestablished?

Yes. You must re-enter these transactions after August 4.

Will I be able to use Autobooks within Renasant’s Online Banking?

After August 1, 2025, the Autobooks link will no longer be available. Beginning August 4, 2025, you can use app.autobooks.co to continue accessing your Autobooks account. Upon your f irst login to Autobooks after August 4, 2025, you will be prompted to create a new username and password.

Loans & Payments

Will my loan number or payment process change?

No, unless you received a change-of-servicing letter. However, starting August 4, mail payments to:
Renasant Bank, P.O. Box 4140, Tupelo, MS 38803

Can I still use external transfers to pay my loan?

After August 1, use Renasant’s One-Time or Scheduled Loan Payments tool.

Will my loan rates change?

No, your loan rates will not be affected by the merger or conversion.
